School of Transformation 2011/12

Click on the links below for the Application

Dare To Believe School of Transformation is dedicated to wide-reaching transformation through spiritual revival. We are training and equipping the Body of Christ to bring the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit into the darkest places of the planet and establish Holy Spirit protection, resulting in the kingdom of this world becoming the kingdom of our God.

The School of Transformation is more than a school, it’s a Holy Spirit journey into the realm of the impossible, a heavenly adventure where no one dare travel without God. In this environment of love and encouragement, students will learn how to minister with power and naturally walk in signs and wonders.

We are in the midst of the greatest revival in human history. Yet there remains a distance between what should be and what will be. That distance is you! What will you be? You are the bridge between history and His story. You are the sons of the prophets.

The world is waiting to see what you have learned. Don’t disappoint them!

With our eyes on the prize,

Gary and Kristi Graner

The Mission

Dare To Believe School of Transformation (DTB-SOT) is committed to the truth that God loves people, gave Himself for them and has given His Church supernatural power to bring individuals and nations into wholeness. God is in a good mood! The school emphasizes that believers need to return to the ministry of relationship with the Lord that includes signs and wonders—to minister in love, truth and the power of God. The mission of DTB-SOT is to equip and deploy followers of Jesus Christ who passionately pursue transformation in their God-given spheres of influence. Our vision is to train students to continue in the ministry style of Jesus: to enjoy the presence of God, say what He is saying, and do what He is doing.

The Atmosphere

DTB-SOT is a Holy Spirit driven ministry school where students of all ages come to learn how to live in the Kingdom of God and extend its borders through a naturally supernatural lifestyle. It is important to note that the school is multi-generational. One of Dare To Believe’s core values is honor, which manifests through joining the generations and teaching every age group to value and serve one another.

The school emphasizes hands on training and experience along with academic understanding. This creates a “do and teach” culture where all of the students are expected to take risks to stretch their faith and grow in their understanding of God. DTB-SOT believes that each verse of the Bible is an invitation into an experience with the Lord; therefore the students are challenged to live out what they learn in the Bible. This produces a class environment that often feels very much like a laboratory where disciples practice the things they are being taught while instructors coach the process and all this takes place in a setting of passionate worship.

As the year progresses and the students begin to gain confidence and experience within the safety of the classroom, they are sent on outreaches into the community. These exploits include ministry to neighborhoods, after-school programs, and street & service evangelism. When the students take their supernatural ministry into the community, it gets pretty exciting! They return to class to share testimonies, give thanks and debrief, always cheering each other on as they share.

Boldness, passion and risk are center stage in Dare To Believe’s school. These values define our atmosphere and are evident in worship, ministry and in relationships with each other.

Student Life

The school is designed to equip students to live a naturally supernatural lifestyle, not just minister in the gifts of the Spirit. They are encouraged to be naturally supernatural by bringing heaven to earth wherever they go. Students are intentional to reach out in the neighborhoods where they live and work, so that they can practice bringing Jesus to the marketplace as a part of their learning experience. Most of our students will work full-time jobs while they attend school.

In-class hours are Mondays (sometimes Sunday) from 6:15 to 9:30 and Friday night/Saturday once a quarter. The class hours are learning opportunities with the instructors but they are just a small part of the learning experience. The other hours consist of learning through homework, from an author or from the Holy Spirit as the students read the Word, attend services, serve on ministry teams, soaking & prayer times of personal devotion, living the supernatural lifestyle in an honorable way at work, and more. DTB-SOT is not for the faint of heart or lazy, it is an extremely fast paced season of schooling, but the training is pivotal and strategic. We believe the intensity soon translates into “becoming”; things that are at first foreign and done out of duty gradually become second nature and students move from merely echoing a message to becoming a message.

The school culture is one where you are expected to meet God as you “do life.” There is also a high level of discipleship, personal responsibility and accountability in the lives of our students. This is accomplished through small group interaction and a covenant community which embraces honesty, transparency and confrontation.

DTB-SOT is not for those who are looking for a place to rehab or people who are coming out of a lifestyle of sins. Dare To Believe’s school is designed to be a ministry training center where our students encounter their royal identity, learn the attributes of the Kingdom and walk in the authority and power of the King.

Academic Overview

The academic instruction at DTB-SOT is unique because it is taught by apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. This gives the teaching a kind of living perspective with five-fold distinctions. DTB-SOT has some powerful guest speakers throughout the year but the primary teaching is accomplished through DVD’s from The Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry.

The students receive a great deal of historic commentary and insight into the scriptures but they are also immersed in a revelatory culture where the Holy Spirit becomes the chief instructor and tour guide. He causes His Kingdom to come alive through the pages of the Bible. DTB-SOT students learn how to read, understand, and “do” the Bible – how to cast out demons, witness, heal the sick, prophesy, preach, pray; practice His presence and much more.

The DTB-SOT students learn in large group sessions, small groups of 5, and on their own. There are also classes entitled Advance Ministry Training. Here, students choose the subjects they are passionate about and called to train in. These AMT’s deepen their understanding and experience in a much more focused way and at a higher level in areas such as leading worship, children’s ministry, preaching, prophecy, intercession, intimacy with God, youth, and career ministry (specific AMT topics are yet to be determined for the upcoming year). Every week DTB-SOT students are transformed through preaching, teaching, instruction, impartation, equipping and doing.

DTB-SOT Structure

The school will take place September 12, 2011 through June 18, 2012. We will discern the possibility of holding another second-year school as the Lord leads.

Intensive Weekend dates are held on a Friday night from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 – 5:00 p.m. and all five weekends are mandatory. Tentative dates for this school year are:  September 30th & October 1st, October 21st & 22nd, January 20th & 21st, March 16th & 17th and May 18th & 19th.

Students read the entire Bible (if accepted during the summer, you are encouraged to start right away) in this 10-month program along with approximately 9 additional books. Students are required to be a part of a ministry team in church services and serve in conferences, classes and home groups. They do outreach ministry each week and the entire school will go on various mission trips within MN, nationally and/or some internationally. Students raise additional funds for these missions’ trips. Sometime during the school year there may be an all school retreat. The purpose of the retreat is to build relationship with other students, have a lot of fun getting to know each other and connecting with the staff.

Internships – It is our vision to assist you in finding internships if you desire after completion of one year with this school.

WE Believe

There is only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator and Redeemer of all that is. He is perfectly holy, just, loving and truthful. He has revealed Himself to be eternally self- existent – one being in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

The Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God.

Humankind was created in the image of God to know and enjoy Him, yet we willfully rejected the Lordship and glory of God for which we were intended. Because of this, sickness, death and judgment entered the world and now creation experiences the effects and consequences of sin.

The Lord Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin, Mary, and is God’s Anointed One, empowered by the Holy Spirit to inaugurate God’s Kingdom on earth. He was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, resurrected and ascended into heaven, and is now alive today, in the presence of God the Father and in His people. He is “true God” and “true man.”

We are saved by God’s grace, through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Anyone can be restored to fellowship with God through repenting, believing and receiving Jesus as their Savior and Lord. The Holy Spirit, convicts, regenerates, justifies, and adopts us as we enter the Kingdom of God as His sons and daughters.

In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live holy and minister super-naturally. The baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 1:4-8 and 2:4 is poured out on believers that they might have power to be witnesses.

The victorious redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides freedom from the power of the enemy, sin, lies, sickness and torment.

The Church consists of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. He gave His church the ordinances of Baptism and Communion. The Church exists to carry on the ministry of Jesus Christ and further advance His kingdom by undoing the works of the enemy, preaching and living the good news of God’s love, disciple the nations, baptizing and teaching them to love and obey God.

In the ever increasing government of God and in the Blessed Hope, this is the glorious visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ for His overcoming bride -His church. Heaven and hell are real places. There will be a resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting death.

School Policies

Standard of Conduct:
Students will seek to “be imitators of God” with “not even a hint of sexual immorality, or any kind of impurity,” living as “children of light” and finding out “what pleases the Lord” (Ephesians 5:1-12). This standard governs our personal and public life.

Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children 2 and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. 3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. 4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. 5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person–such a man is an idolater–has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. 7 Therefore do not be partners with them. 8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the LORD. Live as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the LORD. 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.

Attendance:
Students are expected to attend classes regularly and punctually. During the first semester, the maximum number of absences permitted is one day the maximum number of absences during the second semester is two. Exceptions to this policy will be made only for extreme circumstances and emergencies. If a student’s absences and tardies total more than 8 days a school year, it is likely that the student will not receive a Certificate of Completion and will potentially be asked to leave school.

Discipline of Students:
The freedom of the DTB-SOT environment requires a high level of self-management. Any student struggling to make wise choices will receive quick and direct confrontation, which is designed to help draw out the greatness within the student. Our staff and pastoral team is trained and empowered to apply strength and grace in whichever areas necessary of students’ lives.

Withdrawal:
Any student who wishes to withdraw from Dare To Believe School of Transformation must do the following:
• Arrange an appointment with a DTB-SOT pastor to discuss the reasons for withdrawing from the school.
• For tuition refund information, see the section under Financial Information.
